This Case Study should include:
The name of your brand, its geo-location, and target user persona. | The name of my brand is West Shore Coffee Bar. Location: (2291 West Shore Rd. Warwick, RI 02889) |
The AFFORDANCEs / LIMITATIONs that your rebranding is IMPROVING. | The affordances and limitations that I am improving will include the logo, the color scheme for the logo. I will also be including new typography for that logo, and for the Value proposition. |
Describe how this redesign/rebranding will enhance the target User experience. | This redesign will help enhance the target’s user experience by creating a new idea of what West Shore Coffee Bar has to offer as far as their Value Proposition goes. The new logo is creative, surrounded inn a caffeinated theme, and will be content to help pursue more customers and appeal to their desire for coffee. |
State the intended goals and outcomes to be achieved by this rebranding. | The new goal for this re-branding assignment is to reach out to a much younger audience. One that is younger, much more creative and wants a beach centered/ summer vibe whenever they get either breakfast or lunch. |
Include how/why you arrived at your Value Proposition | My brand’s primary product is coffees and lattes, they specialize in crafting unique looking beverages that will keep their clients happy and fulfilled. Their old slogan is “Stay Safe and Stay Caffeinated”, this is shown on their homepage on what looks like a coaster for their restaurant. I originally thought my brand’s new value proposition for them was “Great Deals with a dash of love.” This was a good start considering it differentiates from competition because our services will include better prices, opportunities to earn discounts on items, and ingredients that all of our clients can adore. Later with tweaking and more brainstorming, I came up with a Value Proposition that completely embodies what they do while making it sound more young adult and youth friendly. |
Include similar written info about your Package Design process | For my packaging, I designed sketches that fit the theme of a beach themed coffee shop, but since what they create as far as meals there are very colorful and creative I decided to give it a bit of an art vibe to it as well. |

It is extremely vital for both the image and “ORDER NOW” sign to be as well, since they are key in attracting the customer’s eye.![]() ![]() |
